LIFE SAVING / SURFING CLUBS IN AUSTRALIA

Surf Life Saving Foundation Art Union. Win a $500,000 Dream Home for just $2.00

KEEP THE AUSSIE BEACH TRADITION ALIVE! THE SURF LIFESAVERS NEED YOUR HELP!
EVERY YEAR SURF LIFESAVERS WORK HARD TO KEEP OUR BEACHES SAFE. THEY ARE THE UNPAID PROFESSIONALS ON OUR BEACHES, PROVIDING A VITAL SERVICE TO KEEP THE COMMUNITY SAFE.

Each year our lifesavers look after some 55 million people who visit the beach around Australia. They patrol more than 300 beaches, save more than 11,000 lives and perform about 50,000 first aid treatments around our beautiful coastline. To keep our beaches safer and perform their vital work, lifesavers need equipment, and lots of it. Inflatable Rescue Boats, Rescue Water Craft, Rescue Boards, Rescue Tubes, First Aid Kits, Oxygen and Resuscitation equipment, Patrol Towers ? the list goes on. The value of essential rescue equipment on every patrolled beach is a staggering $25,000. The current Art Union home has been built and designed by the Sunshine Coast's own Suncity Homes. The home features four bedrooms, huge open plan living area and outdoor entertaining areas, perfect for the Sunshine Coast lifestyle.
